TODAY’S "DAMN THAT’S GOOD" VISITS SPICE KITCHEN AND MAKES A STOP AT PENNYROYAL STATION
Fifth Episode of Second Season airs on YouTube.com/TheCSEChannel
In Brentwood, MD and Mt. Rainier, MD, the adventures continue on Common Sense Entertainment’s foodie series Damn That’s Good as host Eugene Obah heads to miXt Food Hall—the first food hall in Prince George's County—to try Spice Kitchen and explore a unique take on the Nigerian delicacy of suya—notably, the application of its spice. He then heads to Pennyroyal Station to have a three-course meal. The episode airs later today on the Common Sense Entertainment YouTube channel (YouTube.com/TheCSEChannel).
“We continue to be delighted with the restaurants that we have unearthed on this series, and I know the public are as well,” said Obah, who also is the Vice President of Common Sense Entertainment. “I especially want our audience to pay close attention to this episode, as we’ll have an update on one of them that they will want to make note of.”
Obah also issued the following statement on this week’s show:
“I have been fortunate over the years to have been in quite a few food halls—the ultimate of which is Chelsea Market—and the common thread to these are that, for many mom-and-pops, these are incubators. And for foodies, you can try a little bit—or a lot bit—of everything.
miXt was, when we shot the show there where Spice Kitchen was, no exception. For those who have been watching the show for a while—specifically from the beginning—you’ll see something pretty familiar. I went to Spice Kitchen on recommendation of one of my social media followers, and I am glad to have done so.
Pennyroyal Station was one of a few restaurant I had my eye on for the show—there was just something about it that drew me in. Hopefully, the food that we’ll feature will draw you and your friends in as well.
The snow provided a bit of a nice backdrop, which is starting to sadly become a rare thing. Snow may not be fun to drive in, but damn if it isn’t pretty.
Even postcard-worthy.
Thank goodness for all-wheel drive.”
