MISSING UNIVERSITY OF MARYLAND JOURNALISM ALUM TERRENCE WOODS TO BE FEATURED TONIGHT ON FOX’S "AMERICA’S MOST WANTED: MISSING PERSONS"
AMW feature marks first major broadcast network televised coverage of Woods case; Crowdfunded Crime Redefined independent investigation ongoing
CSE Media, the news division of the award-winning independent production company Common Sense Entertainment Inc., has led the charge with extensive coverage on Fit To Speak and Fit To Speak: From The Archives of the case of missing broadcast industry professional and University of Maryland alum Terrence Woods, who, since October 5, 2018 has been missing from a shoot of an episode of Discovery Channel’s Gold Rush: Dave Turin’s Lost Mine. His case, which has received relatively little national media attention, will be featured in a segment of America’s Most Wanted: Missing Persons at 8PM ET tonight (MONDAY MAY 12) on FOX. Viewers can watch CSE Vice President Eugene Obah’s announcement here.
The episode will also be available on-demand on FOX.com, Tubi and Hulu.

“When I found out from the Crime Redefined social media pages that this was happening, I was—and remain—thrilled beyond belief,” said Obah, who has presided over CSE’s coverage of the case. “To have the weight of a preeminent, public service show like America’s Most Wanted on this case, a show that I have grown up watching, is just incredible, and it is our hope that the segment will help move the needle in solving this nearly 7-year-old case. While I am extremely proud of the role we have played in bringing this story to the forefront, especially given that FOX is now the first national broadcast network to televise this case in great length, it’s not about us—it’s ultimately about the Woods family and getting them the closure that they so justly deserve.”
The independent investigation into Terrence’s disappearance is being led by Crime Redefined podcast hosts Mehul Anjaria and Dion Mitchell, who set up a GoFundMe page to fund the investigatory efforts. Viewers can read about, share and/or donate to their investigation here—https://www.gofundme.com/f/investigating-the-disappearance-of-terrence-woods—which will include forensic analysis and interviews that remain to be conducted in this case.
Viewers can also catch up with CSE’s coverage of Terrence’s case, including an exclusive two-part video interview with Terrence Woods Sr. and our original special report featuring Anjaria and Mitchell in 2023 via a newly created playlist—Where is Terrence Woods?—on the Common Sense Entertainment YouTube channel.
