IS AGE NOTHING BUT A NUMBER (IN POLITICS)? THE AGE-OLD DEBATE TO BE HAD ON THE SEPTEMBER EDITION OF FIT TO SPEAK
Host Eugene Obah to provide extended commentary on Drew Barrymore’s initial actions amid the WGA strike Thursday September 28
As the second GOP debate draws very near, Fit To Speak Host Eugene Obah and International Nonprofit Manager and Political Observer Faisal Hassan are set to discuss the increased national debate about age among elected officials and presidential candidates. Such questions as “Should there be upper age limits for elected office?” and “Should there be term limits for Congress and the Supreme Court?” will be answered on the Thursday September 28 edition of the show on the Common Sense Entertainment YouTube channel.
“Faisal has distinguished himself with thoughtful political insight and an incredible command of current events,” said Obah, who also serves as Vice President, Common Sense Entertainment. “With what’s happened to Sens. Mitch McConnell and Dianne Feinstein, I think it is fair game to examine age as it pertains to our political system, and whether or not these incidents help or hinder President Biden’s case for a second term.”
In addition to commentary on the Colorado Buffaloes run in college football thus far—and whether or not the hype generated by the team and Head Coach Deion Sanders is warranted—Obah will discuss talk show host Drew Barrymore’s decision to return her eponymous program to the airwaves before reversing said decision, and the potential ramifications had she continued to tape new editions of her program amid the WGA strike, which is largely resolved.
As Obah continues:
“My commentary on Drew for long-time viewers of our show may come as a bit of a surprise, but I carry nobody’s water—the only water I carry is for the truth, and I will be giving it BIG TIME, even if it upsets people (and, by the way, especially in the case of USFL stans with the apparent impending merger with the XFL, it delights me greatly).”
