FIFTH SEASON OF NEWS DISCUSSION SERIES “FIT TO SPEAK” TO COMMENCE OCTOBER 31
Updates on Terrence Woods case; commentary on U.S. Department of Justice Investigation into RT to feature in the season premiere
CSE Media, the news division of the award-winning independent production company Common Sense Entertainment Inc., announced today the return of Fit To Speak on THURSDAY OCTOBER 31 for a fifth season of monthly shows featuring commentary and high-level discussion of topical issues in news, media and culture. Eugene Obah, the Vice President of Common Sense Entertainment, continues to host the series, which airs on the CSE YouTube channel (YouTube.com/TheCSEChannel).
The season premiere, in addition to commentary on recent developments surrounding the U.S. Justice Department’s investigation of Russian state media outlet RT—which include the indictments of two of its employees—and the potential implications of these and other developments for its former operations in the United States, will feature a significant update and commentary on the now 6 year mark of the disappearance of broadcast industry professional and University of Maryland alum Terrence Woods. Woods was reportedly last seen in Idaho while working on a shoot on a spinoff of popular Discovery Channel series Gold Rush. An independent investigation, being led by Crime Redefined hosts Mehul Anjaria and Dion Mitchell, is being conducted, and can be supported here.
“As the longest-running series we’ve done, I have been thrilled with the steady growth of our program each year,” said Obah. “What it shows is that more of the public, especially when it comes to our unparalleled coverage of Terrence Woods, are gravitating to our fiercely independent brand of journalism the way it should be practiced, and I am glad for our team to lead the charge in continuing to bring quality, fact-based discussion of the news, to the forefront of American culture. We are especially looking forward, as we approach the presidential election, to torching the deceivers, liars, and opportunists, and trust me, on the 31st, it will be the opening salvo.”
