COMMENTARY ON JON TAFFER’S FAILED DC RESTAURANT, CAITLIN CLARK BECOMING THE ATHLETE OF THE YEAR, AND THE RFK STADIUM LAND TRANSFER TO FEATURE ON A NEW YEAR’S EVE “FIT TO SPEAK”
Season 5 also concludes with preview of WNBA bonus segment with Sports Journalist Regina Ham
CSE Media, the news division of the award-winning Common Sense Entertainment Inc., ends 2024–and the season—with an all-new edition of Fit To Speak on TUESDAY DECEMBER 31 on YouTube.com/TheCSEChannel.
Host Eugene Obah will provide commentary on Bar Rescue host Jon Taffer’s now-closed Taffer’s Tavern, why it failed in Washington DC (and in Massachusetts), and the New Year’s Resolution that he believes that some restaurant owners should heed for 2025. In addition to commenting on Indiana Fever Guard Caitlin Clark being named TIME’s Athlete of the Year, he previews an extended bonus segment that was recorded with Sports Journalist Regina Ham, who appeared in the November edition of the show to discuss the successes and the future of the WNBA. Obah finally comments on the averted government shutdown—particularly on the land transfer that could yield a new stadium for the Washington Commanders on the RFK Stadium site, and how it almost did not happen.
“As the year—and fifth season—comes to a close, my team and I are grateful to our audience for their support of the show and the intelligent conversations we’ve been fortunate enough to have,” said Obah, who also serves as Vice President, Common Sense Entertainment. “We look forward to bringing even more of these in the spring, but as news warrants—and we certainly will have a lot of material in the new year—we will not be too far to comment on it.”
